Phi Theta Kappa (PTK - ) is an international honor society for two-year colleges that recognizes outstanding student achievement and provides members opportunities for scholarships, transfer success, career training, and leadership development. Read below to learn how to become a PTK member and the benefits of PTK membership.
Our Beta Delta Omega chapter of PTK recognizes the academic achievement of MSJC students and provides opportunities for its members to grow as scholars and leaders.
To become a PTK member you must:
- be currently enrolled at MSJC
- have completed 12+ units of college level coursework or 6+ units of career education coursework
- have a 3.3 cumulative GPA or higher for all of your college coursework
- pay a one-time $100 membership fee for a lifetime of membership
Invitations are automatically sent to eligible students at the beginning of each semester. No extra MSJC coursework is required to be a PTK member. A 3.3 cumulative GPA is required to sustain membership after you join.
