ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ (MSJC) continues to transform students through life-changing internship opportunities in cutting-edge biomedical research labs, thanks to the college's participation in the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) Bridges to Stem Cell Research Internship Program. Under the guidance of Dr. Nick Reeves, Associate Professor and Chair of Biological Sciences, this prestigious internship prepares MSJC biology students for advanced degrees and impactful careers in science and medicine.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ (MSJC) honors student Alicia Chloe Nicole Geronimo was recently recognized with an Exemplary Achievement Award at the 2025 Honors Transfer Council of California (HTCC) Student Research Conference, held on April 5 at the University of California, Riverside.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ (MSJC) is proud to announce that Leslie Arias, a 20-year-old Business Administration major from Hemet, California, was selected as a scholarship recipient by the Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institution Educators (AHSIE) to attend the 17th Annual AHSIE Best Practices Conference, held March 10-13, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois.

On March 31, 2025, we join people throughout the world in observing International Transgender Day of Visibility. This celebration was initially launched in 2010 by trans activist Rachel Crandall Crocker to honor the lives of transgender people. 

Three MSJC students showcased their research at the 66th Annual Drosophila Research Conference, held March 19-23, 2025, at the Town and Country Resort in San Diego, CA. Biology majors Fady Hanna and Hannah Sofia Nadine Rosario, along with MSJC alumna Janelle Nelson, presented a biology honors research poster highlighting their work on Drosophila (fruit fly) genetics. The conference, organized by the Genetics Society of America, is a premier event for Drosophila researchers worldwide.

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ (MSJC) Career Education Department hosted its annual K-12 Summit on March 13 at Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula, bringing together a full house of K-12 school administrators, counselors, teachers, and staff for a day of learning, collaboration, and student-focused innovation.

On Thursday, February 27, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ wrapped up an important milestone as we concluded our accreditation visit with an incredible team of peer reviewers who dedicated their time, expertise, and energy to help us strengthen our mission of serving students across the district.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ (MSJC) welcomed high school students from across Southern California for an exciting day of historical competition and academic engagement at the MSJC High School History Competition and Open House, held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Menifee Valley Campus.
